Capo Cottages, Laurencekirk, AB30 1RQ
Our theme for this Autumn retreat is:
The power of presence with others
Your pre-winter pause. A chance to slow down and retreat inwards, supported by the loving energy of good people who want to see you thrive.
Set in a stunning location, surrounded by good people, good food, and all the good vibes.
Not your typical yoga class. Learn some simple but effective ways to regulate your nervous system quickly when you need it most. This sessions includes partner work, where you will be guided through ways you can physically ground yourself and others through safe, loving touch. All at your own pace, and within your own comfort levels.
Through guided meditation, reiki healing and oracle card guidance we will spend time attuning to the messages within, taking time to recognise and accept the divine guidance and advice available to you, shining a light on your own inner wisdom.
No retreat is complete without good food, and lots of it! Catering to any dietary requirements, you will be treated to a scrumptious warm lunch to fill your tummy and nourish your soul.
Often the most wonderful connections are made around the dinner table!
I will guide you through an inspiring breathwork session designed to help you shed the heaviness of the anything you don't wish to carry in to the winter months with you. Winter is a time for retreating to your safe space, enjoying the comforts of your home and the people you love.
A deeply transformative practice, this session will offer you the opportunity to break free from the emotions and barriers that have been holding you down, and leave you feeling lighter, calmer, and much more like you again.
About Emma
As well as making this beautiful guffawing face when I laugh, I have a lot of love and passion for creating spaces that feel like a sanctuary. It fills me with purpose to share the self-love and self-help practices that have changed my life and continue to support me every day.
Retreats for me are not an escape from life, they are a part of life - and an important one at that! What a beautiful way to honour and care for yourself by prioritising time for you, connecting with amazing people, and maybe even learning something new.

FAQ
- Is this a yoga retreat?
No. While movement is always a part of the day, this is not a yoga retreat and no previous yoga practice is required to join. I am passionate about making all parts of the day accessible and inclusive. You can even do your movement practice in a chair!
- Is there an option to stay overnight?
Absolutely. If you would like to treat yourself to a full weekend away and extend those retreat vibes, you can book accommodation directly with Capo Cottages on their website www.capocottages.com
If you are happy to share accommodation please let me know as there may be others happy to share the space and cost.
- I have allergies/dietary requirements. Can you accommodate that?
Absolutely. We will discuss any specific dietary requirements before the event and make sure you are happy with your options.
- I don’t drive. Can I get there using public transport?
Laurencekirk train station is less than a 15 minute taxi ride from Capo Cottages, or we may be able to arrange collecting you from the station depending on your arrival time. Car share will also be an option. I will look to get in touch with those travelling by car to see if they have space for another passenger travelling from the same area
- I’m a little nervous about coming on my own. Will it be scary?
The beauty of attending these types of events is the warm and welcoming energy everyone has. I promise your nerves will fade away quickly.
- I have a question you haven’t answered here. How do I get in touch?
You can reply to this email, give me a call on 07807681687, or message me through any of my social media channels. I will more than happy to help
